V4UAV Project Partners Meet in Zvolen to Prepare the UAV Tournament

The first on-site meeting of the project partners will take place in Zvolen, Slovakia, from 1 to 3 June. The three-day meeting will focus on establishing a unified framework for the UAV discipline, preparing its rules and safety procedures, and testing them in the field. A key part of the meeting will be the practical testing of the competition disciplines in an open area. Based on this experience, the partners will prepare the necessary documentation, including rules and scoring criteria.

During the meeting, partners and coordinators will assess the estimated tournament duration, which will also help determine the time available for parallel seminars. They will also identify the equipment that can be provided from university resources, define any additional materials needed, and evaluate the possibility of producing project promotional materials, including video and photo documentation during the tournament.

The meeting will also provide an important opportunity for all partners to meet in person, strengthen cooperation, and divide individual duties and responsibilities related to the organisation of the tournament.
